Ty is a Vice President and Commercial Sales Executive specializing in major accounts. He started his career in Chicago in 2004 as a junior sales member on one of Chicago Title’s top-producing teams, where he worked on large transactions for marquee principals and top law firms. His strong work there motivated him to pursue an escrow position with another elite team in San Francisco to further develop his skill set and increase his market knowledge. Over the next decade, Ty developed a reputation for providing excellent customer service and achieved the title of Senior Commercial Escrow Officer. Eventually his experience led him back into an account management role, allowing him to focus on the client experience.
Ty truly enjoys working deals. He is able to navigate all types of transactions and has strong project management skills allowing him to oversee the various title and escrow logistics efficiently. He has worked with clients representing all parts of the capital stack and has a detailed understanding of financial frameworks and ownership structures. Ty maintains a solutions-oriented philosophy and is adept at fostering an efficient dialogue between all stakeholders to ensure a smooth closing. He is attentive to clients’ needs, responsive, calm under pressure, and dedicated throughout all phases of the deal.

Ty graduated from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California and an active member of NAIOP. Ty enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling internationally, relaxing in Charleston, and chasing the perfect line while backcountry skiing. He lives in Berkeley with his wife and daughter.
